Default Anchors within a page

I'm trying to use anchors within a page, so that links on another page can jump to a certain part of it.

Is there any reason why the following code isn't working?

Code:
a href="index.php?page=MyPage#MyAnchor"
The resulting link on the rendered page has the #MyAnchor part stripped off

Where is this link code - in a template, or advanced index, etc.
I've just put it in the default page template, and its come out fine.

I presume you're finishing off the link, as thats just half of it. I'm adding this code:
PHP Code:
<p>
<
a href="index.php?page=MyPage#MyAnchor">link</a>
</
p
Edit: Have just added this into an advanced index, and it works fine too.
What version of Monkey are you using?

Yup - I use anchors quite a lot, but haven't seen it stripped off before.
