It's been a long wait, but 1.5.0 is nearling completion and includes the following updates.
1. MonkeyCMS forum - a fully integrated forum option for MonkeyCMS 2. Changes to password management to enhance security 3. The option to specify the use of alternative password encryption methods, specifically to aid migration from other forum applications. 4. Additional code hooks 5. Improved plugin handling 6. Numerous query optimisations 7. Additional link formats for search engine friendly links 8. Enhanced anti-hack code This release is a beta due to the addition of major functionality (ie the forum). This functionality is 99% complete, but requires full testing in the wild before being given an officially designated release. It is recommended that you still upgrade despite the beta status of this release to benefit from the security improvements. The forum module isn't open in the default installation and therefore there will be no implications to the running of your standard MonkeyCMS site. Timescales for this release will be announced soon. |

I am aiming for a release of this on 19th May. There is the caveat that the forum functionality currently requires extensive use of inline PHP - this is due to the complex nature of that module. I have plans to slowly switch over to standard MonkeyCMS functions over subsequent releases where possible, but in the short term inline PHP is a requirement.
A separate skin will be downloadable for people who want to take the forum and integrate it into their site as of the next release. This skin will include all of the templates required to make full use of the forum functionality as it stands and is strongly recommended as a starting point for creating your own forum skin. The skin won't be included as part of the 1.5.0 package. |

![]() The text in the 'Downloads' section needs to be edited. You mention there is no CFO as this is the new baseline, but then in the 'Downloads' section, it describes about getting the CFO versions.

Yeah - I was thinking that. Might hold off though as I expect releases to be pretty rapid for the moment as I fix bugs with the forum code so I expect there will be a CFO there in the next day or two.
Which, reminds me - where can i download the Zip deduplicator now as I've got a new PC ![]() I'll be releasing the base forum skin soon. |

Theres no 'front page' for it, but you can download it from here.
http://www.creapsoft.co.uk/downloads/zipDedup_setup You may get a warning from it, as I don't think Google have reset my malware status yet.

I was moving a site from my development server to a live server so thought I'd take to opportunity to install the lastest version.
I downloaded the latest version and uploaded it to the new server, imported my database etc, but if a have "Security Check CRC" enabled the default skin reports: "Security Issue MonkeyCMS has determined that your installation may have been compromised. The file 'index.php' contains non-signed contents and you should ensure that your server is secure. MonkeyCMS will not run until this issue is resolved" If I try using my own skin I only get the header and footer, no page layout is displayed. If I turn the Security Check CRC off all is well. |

Sounds like there is a problem with the main index file then. Do you get the same error on viewing content.php?
